Owner, Creative Director

Jessica Peterson founded Greta Design in 1998. She is a seasoned creative whose dual interests in writing and design came to fruition in her media company, Greta Design. Jessica’s nascent beginnings were in Dallas, Texas where she worked as both a freelance journalist (The Dallas Morning News, AOL, CitySearch) and graphic designer (Dallas Market Center, Gannett Healthcare Group).

When Jessica and her husband Tim moved to Guam in September 2009, it was natural that she continue the creative work she was born to do. As a former Gannett employee, Jessica started writing for Guam Pacific Daily News, contributing to the island’s entertainment news.

In July 2010, Jessica crafted unique print and radio campaigns for Citibank, Bud Guam, and SPPC/76 at Big Fish Creative.

She was invited to become an editor at Glimpses Publications in December 2010 and helmed four publications — MDM, R&R Pacific, Guam Business Magazine, and Marianas Business Journal. Jessica was known for her strong visual aesthetic and commitment to accuracy as she took on the roles of art director, events manager, writer, stylist, and photographer.

In July 2011, Jessica was offered the position of Marketing Media Specialist at the Guam Visitors Bureau. Her dual visual and editorial talents were exactly what the Bureau desired as Jessica served as publicist, graphic designer, events planner, photographer, and social media consultant.

Jessica launched the much-anticipated website, The Guam Guide in September 2011. Residents and tourist industry leaders have praised the site for its functional and attractive design and content as the unique source of “Everything you want to know about Guam.”
